It remains the case that the vast majority of the population in the UK does not have a Will. While a Will does not have to be drafted by a Solicitor we do recommend that you obtain professional advice so that the Will can be tailored to your specific needs and wishes and to ensure that it is properly executed. We are happy to provide you with advice in order to draft a Will to your own specifications.
The cost of drafting a Will depends upon its complexities and the amount of time it will take to be drawn. If you are interested in drafting a Will we would be happy to discuss your circumstances and give you a quote free of charge.
We are also able to offer a Probate service to ensure that the wishes set out in a Will are carried out. We also deal with situations where there is no Will. Probate occurs at a difficult time and we therefore work hard to ensure the process is dealt with smoothly and sensitively.
Occasionally disputes may arise, particularly when there may be no Will or perhaps a "home made" Will. We are able to advise you in this area, and also to deal with any necessary litigation.
